Who we are
KOINONIA Presença Ecumênica e Serviço is an organization headquartered in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), with national and international operation, founded in 1994.
It is an non-denominational entity comprised of people from different religious traditions, gathered in a non-profit civil association, integrating the non-denominational movement and providing services to the social movement.
KOINONIA’s mission is to generate non-denominational solidarity and provide services to groups that are historically and culturally vulnerable and in process of political and social emancipation, as well as to promote ecumenism and its libertarian values.
